Beautiful easy to get to and free. We went in late fall on a sunny day. I liked that there was a ramp down to the beach and only a few feet to get to the water but there are 4 steps to get to the sand.
AMAZING EXPERIENCE FOR THE FAMILY. MICHIGAN IS DEFINITELY A BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO LIVE.

there are lots of stones to dig thru while looking for your favorites; or there is clean white sand to throw down a towel and settle in for the day.
beautiful place in the sun, or plenty of shade if you choose to stay in the picnic / playground area.
This location served as on of the key points in a short Film we recently completed. It is a little off off the beaten path. That being said it offers a quiet and serine backdrop to a nice summer evening destination.
newly built, wide stairs to the water, make this one of the easiest climbs in the area, we carried large tubes and floating chairs and there was room for people to get past us! there are benches along the way to sit and enjoy the view from part way down, or to rest on the way up. this is the only waterfront park that I know of with a ramp down to the water. it's not a steep, frightening ramp, it's a wide ramp with multiple switchbacks that keep the incline / decline manageable.
Beautiful park. Awesome ramp for disabled and elders. A little rocky but perfect for looking for pretty rocks. Clear water. Smaller beach but with great parking. Head to Virtue cider after for a drink.
