Very cool place to visit, especially if you're a railfan. Some signage with cool information about the history of the area and it's relationship with the railroad. It's nice to meander across the pedestrian bridge adjacent to the railroad bridge and enjoy the views of the river, the bridge and the surrounding nature. It's especially cool if you're there when a train passes through.
Amazing place to go for a nice walk or do some fishing was here to take photos.
Beautiful place and peaceful...only things I found wrong is no marked handicap parking which needs to be addressed and the bathroom was disgusting looked as though no one had been ther to clean it in months that was the only bad thing.
This is a gem of a park. There are many areas to walk around, over and under bridges. A coal train passes through on the railroad tracks often as it did while I was having a very interesting conversation with a NASCAR official fishing under and around the bridges. The bridge spanning the Kalamazoo River has a working turning trestle. The center of the walking bridge is on a pivot point in the middle of the river. While there this fall I was looking at the park in detail for criticism to share with the parks advisory board. Love the park and can’t wait to go back and explore, dream photograph and walk.
Great park with scenic and nice hiking trails.
