Every year the chili cookoff goes on sale the middle of the month of December. They claim it sold out this year on December 2nd and has done so in past years. I can show receipts paying for the cookoff after December 15th every year for the past 5. Last year the event downstairs was half filled. They told me to buy the Chili entrant ticket since the guest ticket was filled. What a joke that you have a chili cookoff and ask people to join as an entrant that won't bring chili. Have enjoyed the event in the past but it is getting more and more lame each year with how they handle the event.

Atmosphere was similar to wineries in Napa but less pretentious. This wines tasted good and were well priced. They also gave us a nice wine bag when we bought 4 wines and give a military discount as well. Great value for winery and lots of good wines to try.
The food tasting and events they have at Fenn Valley are a great way to spend some quality time with family and friends.
The owners and entire staff do an excellent job with their customers. They make sure you understand what goes into wine making as well as the grapes used and what to expect from taste.
Very reasonable price to taste a variety of wines. I never go away empty-handed. Friendly staff members who really seemed to enjoy their job.
Very educational vineyard tour, make sure to make a reservation. Applicable to all wines not just Michigan. An established vineyard making California and European style wines not just typical Michigan regional and fruit wines.
